How Much Does the Average Australian Wedding Cost?

According to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the average Australian wedding costs $36,200. 

The most expensive cost? Food, alcohol and venue, coming to $18,683.

The least expensive cost? The wedding ceremony itself, at just $941.
